WHAT IS THE FIRST STEP TO TAKE IF SOMEONE IS INTERESTED IN GETTING FIT?
The first step would be to set yourself a specific and realistic goal. Any goal too generic or vague will be lost along the way of your fitness journey. Work is never ending, but work will end when you lose your health.
WHAT ARE SOME MISCONCEPTIONS PEOPLE HAVE ABOUT GETTING A GYM MEMBERSHIP?
The common ones will be that it’s too expensive and crowded. Seeing a doctor often is more expensive! Furthermore, it’s when it is crowded that you feel the energy pumping when you first step into a gym. If you go to a quiet gym, you’ll probably lose motivation.
WHAT KIND OF RESULTS DO CLIENTS USUALLY WANT TO ACHIEVE?
Weight loss, toning, and get fitter!
WHAT ARE SOME EASY CHANGES ONE SHOULD DO TO ACHIEVE A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE?
Sit less and start moving more!
HOW FREQUENT DOES ONE NEED TO GO TO THE GYM?
At least 3-4 times a week to see decent results, and make sure you are maximising your time in the gym by putting your phone away! Get moving!
WHICH SHOULD I DO FIRST, CARDIO OR WEIGHT TRAINING?
There shouldn’t be any fixed mindset about which one to go for first. Mix them around, challenge the body, and you will get results from there.
