Get Your Support Local Game On

#GoLocal has never been this dynamic as numerous local entrepreneurs have taken the patriotic charge to put this little red dot on the map.

Against all odds, Singapore’s thriving scene has finally come into its own in recent years. We are no longer hidden in the shadows of international brands and global franchises.

Support local is the way to go, because quite honestly, if we don’t, then who will?

In this article, we shine the spotlight on three well-deserving local brands.

The champion of #GoLocal, Naiise strives to support local designers, makers and crafters to keep good designs coming.

Based in Singapore and ships internationally, the store features cleverly curated merchandises that adds nostalgic touch, arts and prints from local artists and even books from local authors.

The go-to place to add a local spin to your retail therapy and to get gifts with local flavour for your friends based overseas. Started out as a one- man show to a current 6 stores, Dennis, founder of Naiise is a shining example of success through the belief of supporting local.

We caught up with Dennis back in March. Read it HERE.

Contrary to popular belief, Benjamin Barker is a brand born and bred in Singapore! A purveyor of smart-casual menswear including suits, shirts, shoes and accessories, Benjamin Barker is a one-stop retail destination to complete the look of the distinguished gentleman.

8 years on, the brand now has 10 outlets in Singapore and 2 outlets in Melbourne, Australia. It all started out with the goal to create suits for the local physique.

Nelson, Managing Director of Benjamin Barker shared about his youth, and how the brand grew over the years. Read it HERE.

A homegrown brand with a diverse portfolio of 17 distinct lifestyle brands spanning across beauty and F&B, and with presence in 9 cities around the world, Spa Esprit Group is undeniably one of the most eminent local brands.

From resurrecting brows, to ridding unwanted hair, from making sure our men too are well-groomed to making eat clean abso easy breezy, from keeping us awake with quality coffee, to celebrating the vibrancy of Argentinian cuisine, founder Cynthia Chua has definitely brought the business to epic highs since the business started right here in sunny Singapore 20 years ago.

Brands like these are Singapore’s message for the world to watch out, cause this tiny red dot is coming for you!
