TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR SPEND & REDEEM PROGRAMME

The following terms and conditions (as may be amended or modified) govern the issuance, purchase, use and other activities, transactions and dealings involving Cathay Malls E-Vouchers. A person is deemed to have accepted and agreed to these terms and conditions if such person purchases, uses, or carries out any activity or transaction or makes any dealing involving Cathay Malls E-Vouchers.

 

A person may obtain Cathay Malls E-Vouchers through Cathay Lifestyle mobile application. Such person must:

a) have agreed to these terms and conditions
b) have registered an account on Cathay Lifestyle mobile application
c) have agreed to providing his/her name, a valid mobile number and email address for the registration of account

 

By providing your personal data to Cathay, you consent to the collection, use, processing and disclosure of your personal data in accordance with the terms of the Cathay’s Privacy Policy. Your personal information may be used for providing you with news, promotions and information about Cathay Malls.

 

A person may obtain Cathay Malls E-Vouchers through Cathay Lifestyle mobile application. Such person can do so by:

a) purchasing Cathay Malls E-Vouchers using a registered card or other payment modes which Cathay may from time to time permit
b) submitting valid transaction receipt(s) under the Cathay Malls Spend & Redeem Programme
c) participating in Cathay Malls Social Rewards Programme

 

or by such other means as Cathay may approve from time to time.

 

A transaction receipt submitted under the Spend & Redeem programme is valid when it meets but not limited to the following criteria:

a) Image is clear/ legible and captured in full
b) Contains the shop name, address, receipt number, date and time of transaction and amount paid
c) Spending is made at Cathay Malls
d) Spending is made not more than 24 hours from time of successful submission
e) Spending meets the minimum spend required
f) Receipt is not duplicated, handwritten or reprinted
g) Receipt is an official receipt issued by the store and not a credit card charge slip

 

Cathay Malls reserves the right to reject any receipt submission at its sole and absolute discretion

 

Owner, staff and representative from stores at Cathay Malls are strictly not allowed to participate in the Spend & Redeem programme

 

E-Vouchers are issued within 3 working days upon a valid submission.

 

The E-Vouchers are not to be resold or traded without Cathay’s prior written consent.

 

The E-Vouchers can be gifted to another person, such person who accepts the e-voucher must have agreed to these Terms & Conditions and have registered an account on Cathay Lifestyle mobile application.

 

Cathay Malls E-Vouchers are in denominations of $5, $10, $50, $100.

 

The value of each E-Voucher is equivalent to the stated amount in Singapore Dollars, and is only valid for use at participating stores at The Cathay and Cineleisure as stated on the E-Voucher.

 

Multiple Cathay Mall E-Vouchers may be used for the same transaction with a participating store.

 

E-Vouchers are not exchangeable for cash. Any E-Vouchers not utilised or remaining value of the E-Voucher cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.

 

No refund or difference shall be given if the value of the Cathay Malls E-Vouchers presented to a participating store exceeds the amount payable to the Merchant.

 

E-Vouchers are valid for six (6) months from date of issue unless otherwise stated. Extension is strictly not allowed and will not be entertained.

 

A person agrees to bear the risk of, all activities or transactions made on or pursuant to his/ her account, whether or not such use is authorised by the person.

 

Cathay shall not be liable in any way for any losses that may be suffered by the person or any third party as a result of any unauthorised, unlawful, or fraudulent use of a person’s account.

 

Only one account is allowed per person. Cathay reserves the right to merge, or delete duplicated account from the same person. Cathay is not responsible for any loss of e-vouchers due to duplicate accounts.

 

While Cathay will not do so without reason, Cathay reserves the right to terminate, delete and ban any account at its sole and absolute discretion. Upon the termination and deletion of account, all outstanding Cathay Malls E-Vouchers will be cancelled with immediate effect. No refund or reimbursement will be given in such event.

 

Cathay reserves the right to vary/ amend the privileges or terms & conditions without prior notice.
