The Ultimate Celebration of all Things Local from Yesteryear

Missed out on the previous edition of The Handy-Craft Market? Not to worry, The Cathay will be bringing back yet another installment of its highly anticipated craft market, with the ultimate throwback to your childhood days, with lots of local spirit to go around!

At this year’s edition of the market, the uniquely 90s-themed event will evoke a sense of nostalgia with larger-than-life childhood game stations, such as super-sized versions of country erasers, five stones and everybody’s favourite hopscotch. Young or old, here’s your chance to compete and get your school report card (game score card) filled out as well to get a chance to win a prize!

Remember to also look out for stations serving up nostalgic local food treats such as the Traditional Ice Cream Cart and Muah Chee Live Station.

Additionally, shopaholics can get their hands on handcrafted pieces created by local vendors – ranging from jewellery to ceramic products.

Mark the dates on your calendars now and get ready to eat, shop and play while celebrating Singapore’s 52nd birthday with your loved ones at The Cathay.
